Routine Check-Ups

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a minimum of 2 visits to the dentist in a year.

Check-ups include:

  • Oral examination
  • Cleaning
  • Fluoride treatment
  • X-rays as needed

Protective Sealants

A thin protective layer of coating which is applied on the permanent molars. Baby molars can get sealants as needed. The purpose of applying sealants is to prevent tooth decay.

Sedation

Nitrous Oxide or laughing gas has a great indication in pediatric dentistry when the patient needs a filling or extraction. It calms the patient, increases pain threshold and controls gag reflex.
