Our Story
Dr. Maryam Mohammadi has been one of the leading pediatric dentists in Northern VA and Washington DC for over 22 years. Her philosophy of dental care is “Offering our signature legendary services to our patients”. During her time as a pediatric dentist in McLean and Washington DC, we have had the great pleasure of meeting many families in the area and watching many children turn from infants into adults.
In November of 2018, we welcomed Paola Annoni Patel DDS, a general and cosmetic dentist, to our practice. She provides dental care to our young adult patients who are growing out of our pediatric practice as well as their parents. Dr. Annoni’s practice is named b. dental studios.
At Beverly Pediatric Dentistry, we believe that establishing a connection with our patients leads to enhanced quality of service and patient experience, and we are so happy that we can now continue to grow that life long connection with our patients by following them into adulthood.
Technology in our office
We also are introducing new technology in the office – the digital intraoral scanner. This device erases the discomfort of using traditional impression materials and allows us to virtually eliminate the inevitable human error involved in the process of impression-taking and fabrication of lab-made prostheses. It is faster, more comfortable, and more accurate!
Invisalign
Now Beverly Family Dentistry is offering Invisalign orthodontic treatment. Since 1999 Invisalign aligner has become an alternative to traditional wired braces. We use our intraoral scanner to create a 3 dimensional image of your teeth. Clear aligners are designed in the computer according to the digital scan, then 3D printers at Aligned technology facility produces the clear aligners.
The main benefits of Invisalign are that the aligners are almost completely invisible and removable which enables the patients to brush and floss easily during their orthodontic treatment. In addition, they also tend to be more comfortable than traditional metal braces. They are made of a smooth plastic that won’t irritate the gums or cheeks the way some brackets and wires might. Invisalign is an efficient method for gently moving teeth in simpler orthodontics cases.
